Craftiness

Miss Messy Face LOVES Dora the Explorer. In fact I would say she ADORES DORA.  She wanted a Dora birthday cake, but we decided to go with Fancy Nancy instead, after all "PINK" trumps all things in that child's life.

Although it was a Fancy Nancy party, it didn't stop her from getting several "Dora" related gifts.  Her brother got her a Dora hairbrush, Dad got her a Dora DVD, and I got her Dora curtains (which is where this post comes in).

I got her the Dora curtains because they were on sale/clearance at Wal-Mart for $2.50 and thought I would craft them into something else because I LOVE her current currents, so I didn't want her to get too attached to the idea of having Dora curtains in her room.

SO I turned them into THIS:

I found a blog and followed her instructions (I can't find the link GAH), I miniaturized one of my t-shirts by copying one of her current shirts.

If you want me to show you how I did it then I can! It's super easy and MMS absolutely LOVES her Dora dress.
