Forks?

I bought these wooden frames from a thrift store for just under two dollars a piece. They sat in my "to do" pile for months because I had no idea what to do with them. My sister also bought the frames and she made this:

I loved the idea! She spray painted her silverware before hot gluing them to board and fabric. I really love the fabric canvas, I like her idea, but I decided to go with a more simplistic approach. My kitchen is done in the fabulous Americana theme so I stained the frames a dark brown and used some left-over fabric from the Americana quilt I did a couple of years ago, I also didn't spray paint my silver-ware. I just picked some of the miss-matched pieces that weren't really being used for anything. I think this project cost me all of $6, possibly less.

Sorry the picture is kind of bad, I was too lazy to get my camera, I took it with my computer (so deal with it!). I have several pieces of wall art paired up in threes in my kitchen and this matched up with everything else pretty well.

Cute I have seen this somewhere recently and liked the idea.
