As far as usual life goes, I like to think that my family is pretty "put together". In fact, sometimes before we walk out the door in the morning I turn to Mr. R and say,"We look put together today!"

(See we can look put together.... but I guess most families do when they're in front of a camera lens....)
Today was not one of those days.
But instead of telling you about my "bad" day, I've decided to look at the "brighter" side.
1. Potting training would be even more terrible if there was no such thing as panties. At least when she poops it doesn't land on the floor.
2. After an unexpected cry it's good to know that non-water proof mascara can be easily and quickly fixed with some tissue and a powder touch-up. 'Quickly' works best when you're already late for church.
3. They don't always start church on time, so the seats we got weren't THAT terrible.
4. When my kids can't get along at church I separate them. Today I learned that I can sit in a chair furthest away from them when I can't get along.
5. The people sitting behind us were kind enough to help pick up the spilled Fruit-Loops before all of them got stepped on.
6. A birthday party at my mom's house had cheesecake, not sheet-cake.
7. BEDTIME for the kids comes faster when most of the day is spent at GRANDMA'S HOUSE.
8. Mr. R. suggested I go take a bath.... what a thoughtful guy.

I just found this blog from your facebook status, and I gotta say that I sure do like this post! Pretty sure I know almost exactly what all of those things feel like. And way to look on the brighter side. (And just so you know, your whole family always looks totally put together in church. :)
Thanks Lacey! I certainly don't feel put together in church sometimes that's for sure! :) I'm just glad we such an awesome ward that knows just when to help out!
